Did you know? Working out in the winter helps give your immune system a boost and can help ward off colds. Get your exercise mojo going by:
- Wearing the right gear, including layers that you can remove as you start to sweat, and avoiding cotton, which stays wet (and cold!) next to your skin.
- Recruit a workout buddy; he or she will help you get those running shoes on even when you don’t want to.
- If it’s really too cold to be outdoors, try tackling a fun indoor activity, such as yoga, kickboxing or even swimming.
